Soundside Automotive is a complete car and light truck automotive repair facility. Our six bay service facility is conveniently located near the Outer Banks in Point Harbor, NC, just 1.5 miles north of the Wright Memorial Bridge in lower Currituck County.
Soundside Automotive was founded in 1995 by John O’Dell, a former service director for a major automotive dealership. O’Dell has over 30 years of technical experience in the automotive service industry.

At this time the Vehicles A/C System has passed the Large Leak Test (even though there is a small leak somewhere in the System because it came in "low"). Added 2.38 lbs Freon back to the Vehicles A/C System (Manufacturers recommended amount) and tested. Found that the Vehicles A/C Compressor is not making proper pressure but is "turning" (Compressor is worn out internally). Recommend at least replacing the Vehicles A/C Compressor Assembly and then see how the Vehicle operates. We have left the A/C System empty at this time. Customer advised.
